Students of the Stevens Conservatory, no matter what their background, learn not only how to improve on their instrument, but also how to improve the quality of their practice and concentration.
Although much of the instruction is done inside the walls of the studio, The Stevens Conservatory holds performance very highly. For this reason, Instructor David Baron Stevens creates several opportunities to performfrom the annual recital with professional jazz accompanists, opportunities to observe and even sit in with his own working groups and recording sessions, to his newest jazz combo group class!
Students of the Stevens Conservatory have gone on to perform in All-County and All-State groups, form their own performing and recording ensembles, and earn scholarships from prestigious music institutions around the country.
